Underwater par Julia McDermott
Underwater might be interesting if you like Ms. McDermott's prose. Unfortunately I don't. The characters are straight out of soap opera – rich female entrepreneur, scheming slacker of a brother, slippery lawyer. Strange plot to extort money. Ms. McDermott writes long paragraphs of exposition telling us exactly what the characters are thinking and doing and what we should feel about it. Perfunctory dialogue. I stopped at about 10%.

Good cover though.
