This book has wayyyyyyy too many plotholes for it to keep my interest. It also very forgettable. The characters are meh, the plot meh. I really don't know where the writer was going with this but even the ~twist~ at the ending couldn't keep my interest. Unfortunately, awful.

The book, "Angels Inc." was about two intercity kids who have a passion to help the Vancouver neighborhood kids. Wendy and Zachary are starting a club that is full of different activities for kids to do. As they are trying to start the club, everything starts going wrong. I like how the author made this book relatable for students. This leaves the message for children to follow their dreams and help out in there community.
As an activity in my classroom, we can do the activities that they do in the book, like do a donations box. I could also have them get into groups and come up with a club that they would want to do in their community.… (plus d'informations)

After his parents and sister are killed in a car accident, Mike, the only survivor must come to terms with losing his family and his legs. Bitter and angry, Mike lashes out against the world; however, with the help of his aunt, his best friend Robbie, and a mysterious girl named Sarah, he begins to realize that life may be worth living afterall. When he begins to question Sarah's identity, Mike discovers that she has a secret that will change the way he looks at life forever. Eventhough adults may clue into Sarah's secret before it is actually revealed, I strongly recommend reading this book. The characters are well-developed and believable, and there is enough suspense to keep a younger reader intrigued.… (plus d'informations)

A cute book about a couple of kids who want to do good deeds, or more accurately, one kid who wants to do good deeds and drags her reluctant best friend into trouble. Wendy is amazingly naive when it comes to the good deeds she wants to do--think Amelia Bedelia, gloriously unaware of the chaos she causes with the best of intentions. Zack is a more grounded foil, but he never does anything to counteract Wendy's misguided notions, even though he moans and groans about all the work it requires of him. It's all right for beginning readers hovering on the cusp of chapter books, but nowhere near the best of the genre.… (plus d'informations)
