Read and liked this one a lot; then discovered Stephen King referenced this book when he was talking about good books. My taste was validated by Big Steve himself, how exciting for me!

Wow, I'm afraid that nothing I can say will convey the absolute greatness of this book. And the ending!...Haunting enough to stick in my head for a long time to come.
This book is 858 pages! Yet I could not put it down. If you enjoy richly written characters, and superb storytelling, this is a book you must read.
To be honest, I wouldn't even know how to categorize it. It deserves a category all it's own, western, drama, suspense, horror, paranormal, and a dash of humor.

Another novel by Greg Matthews that should be a classic and deserves 6 stars. A writer with the cajones to write a sequel to Huckleberry Finn and the talent to pull it off.

This novel should be a recognized classic, I should be able to give it 6 stars.
