A continuation of this bookseller's excellent words on the literature of the kitchen. This is the last of my personal collection. I do not know how many were issued after this. I considered purchasing the remaining collection from Mathiesen in 2003. These are priceless.

Really Great Stuff. Glib, humorous, knowledgeable, irreverent and so enjoyable. I seriously considered buying his collection to "re-seed" Kitchen Garden Books before I opened in 2003. So these were little half pint productions at first, seen here, which became twice as large very quickly (see entry). Johan was rare book curator at Powell's in Portland Oregon before launching his own corner of the world.
