Peter Van Mastricht, 1630-1706 was born in Cologne, Germany. He was educated at the University of Utrecht, and held pastorates in Xanten and Gluckstadt, Germany, as well as various areas in Denmark, before accepting a position as professor of Hebrew and practical theology at Frankfurt, and later at afficher plus his alma mater. His writings were praised by Jonathan Edwards and Cotton Mather, to name just a few afficher moins
