This book was required reading for my M.A. in Secondary Education. It contains many useful ideas for teaching and assessing. Most of these strategies can likely be found for free online, but it is helpful to have a set of recommendations already prepared.

This starts off very statistics and data heavy, making it EXTREMELY dry and difficult to read. Here's hoping it picks up.

Ze onderscheiden daarbij cognitieve vaardigheden (kennis die leerlingen nodig hebben) en conatieve vaardigheden (goed kunnen omgaan met anderen).

This book presents a different way of thinking about learning. Often used in colleges of education to help students begin to think about how students learn and what constitutes higher levels of learning, this book explores the history behind Bloom's Taxonomy and then presents some of the issues associated with it. The authors present their own views on hierarchical learning and the taxonomy they've developed.
