I usually really like this author but just not feeling it with this book. I was a quarter of the way into the book - before the murder happened - and already bouncing around the rest of the book to see if it got more exciting. Still trying to see if I can muddle through but may just skip to the end and call it over.
Yup, skipped over huge chunks to read the last bit. Not much of a mystery book. Not really even a paranormal romance. Probably won't continue with this series.

Was ok. I think I'm not a fan of Katie MacAllister. This book was really confusing even though there weren't many characters.

It was hard to get a handle on the world the author created. I never had a true sense of whether or not the greater population knew about the supernatural--and I got the sense the author herself didn't know either.

However, the mystery was mysterious and the characters were relateable (even if they had four arms). Not laugh out loud funny, but good light entertainment.

A ghost wrangler of sorts gets involved in a murder mystery when her hated husband gets offed in the house of a poltergeist.

This particular author is always hit or miss for me, this was more of a miss than a hit. The characters were okay (with the exception of Spider and Meredeth, but they were supposed to be reprehensible) and the story moved well, but it just seemed a bit non-involving...I didn't really care too much about what happened. Also, the twist at the end annoyed me. Not too bad if you want a ghost story with an unusal approach to poltergeists. Also, not much of a romance at all, even though I think it was marketed as such.… (plus d'informations)
