The Life of George Washington par John Marshall
It really did not focus on George Washington but more on events surrounding his life. About half the book dealt with the American Revolutionary War.
Compiled under the inspection of [nephew] Bushrod Washington, from original papers
Wonderful finale, bring Washington throiugh his second term at the white house, his generalship once again, and succeeding death in 1999.
With the wonderful writing style that is necessary to be the Chief Justice of the United States, John Marshall takes us from 1779 through to the end of the Revolutionary War in 1783 when Washington reitred to his plantation.
