I received an electronic copy of this book, and was asked to review it. I've not finished it. While I think the author has some very good points, two things I am having trouble with - first, he's repetitive, which is annoying. Second, he makes comments without backup - such as accusing the oil companies of deliberately destroying the environment of native peoples in order to increase profits (I dunno - I thought acquiring oil and refining it into usable products was the way to increase profits!) Because he peppers his writing with such nonsense as that, I am concerned that his primary focus will be discounted as well, and it's too valuable a message to squandered. Sometimes, you only get one shot to teach people the truth, and I don't think this is it.… (plus d'informations)
