A history of the Guinness beer company, not only just about the Guinness family and their business, but also in the context of history and religion. It's a bit of a love letter to the company, which can get a tad tiresome, but in general it's an interesting read.

Like the cover says, a remarkable story of the Kurd people from their ascendancy to genocide at the hands of Sadam Hussein and then a re-ascent in the Middle East. Possibly the only success story to emerge from the Middle East minus the religious fundamentalism.
