This was alright. My biggest issue with it was that I don't like Lexi. She annoyed me. She was whiny and dramatic and stupid. And she has serious issues. There were a couple of funny scenes (when the guys and girls jump out the back window because of bed checks or Nate and Kaylee's backstory) and for about 70% it was sweet and flirty if not very teenagey. At the 70% mark it got rather dumb and made me want to hit them both over the head. So much could be solved with talking and honesty. But I also felt the reactions (to Ryan's drinking/him giving back the ring/the fight between Sandy about Lexi's mum cheating with her dad/finding out Lexi's mum is in AA and the sponsor encouraging her to give her support) to a lot of things were majorly overkill. Just calm down people. Plus Lexi was constantly going on about being judged and it didn't really feel like anyone was actually judging her - felt a lot like teenage dramatics. Yeah yeah, we all had them. Still annoying AF. The characters were pretty flat and the plot was fairly thin but overall it wasn't bad. Might even read the rest of the series just to know what happens. Maybe they grow up.… (plus d'informations)

I love this series. Cassie Mae really knows how to write feel good swoon-worthy romance. It's been a while since I read the first two so I was a little vague on the details, but I remember liking both Adam and Brea and this story was everything I had hoped. And getting to see Zak and Zoe's wedding was awesome. There's not as many geeky references in this but it was quirky and had me chuckling. If I have any complaints it was to see less of Jay and for the story to be longer so I could see more Adam and Brea.… (plus d'informations)

I honestly do love this book but god Zoe annoys the crap out of me. I've had my moments of insecurity and not feeling good enough, but I refuse to apologise for who I am - even if I am weird and batshit crazy. But she doesn't and it really irritates me. She's a horrible person in a lot of ways. The only redeeming thing is that at least she knows it. But it takes way too long for Zoe to get over it. I enjoyed the geeky references - I'm more a Harry Potter fan than Star Wars but it's always fun to see pop culture references in texts. The relationship between Zoe and Zak for all its ups and downs though is swoon-worthy and very sweet. Great book, 4 stars.… (plus d'informations)

I needed something a bit on the fluffier and more fun side of things. This was perfect. I really enjoyed this. It neatly avoided many of the cliched traps of the contemporary young adult genre (though it didn't of the romance genre) and I truly cared about both Brody and Hayley.

This book was funny at times, heart wrenching in others, and a good read. Sometimes, you just want a book where you know there will be a happy ending.
