I forgot the undergrad class which made me buy this as a text, but the book is unforgettable. The author is able to see and transcend his own biases, delivering a concise, even-handed blend of history and recommendations for then current events in Central America. History moves on -- and repeats -- but in the digital age "The Sandino Affair" remains well worth reading as an exemplar of fairness, thoroughness, and accuracy for pajama-clad blogger/reporters and armchair strategists, and professionals who need a refresher.… (plus d'informations)
