This is a perfect way to introduce four Rock'n'roll stars to kids that just can't bother with reading ordinary books or thinks Wikipedia is way too hard to manage because all the damn text. Or this could be the perfect graphic novel for hardcore Freddie Mercury fans like me. :)

Freddie Mercury's life is something I know a lot about already, but it's always nice to read about my favorite artist.

When it came to the four stories I actually liked David Bowie's the most since I didn't knew that about his life. He felt that he really had to struggle with his career and reading about his albums made me miss the 80s and MTV.

I like Jon Bon Jovi, but his chapter made me a bit irritated, he came of as the worlds biggest ego. It's all me, me me, all the time and everything was so damn easy for him and his band because they were so good and the best and God loves them and have made them the best band ever...or something like that...

Alice Coopers story was told a bit different from the others (of course, it's Alice Coopers). A bunch of kids need Alice Coopers help and summons him through a Quija board and doing that you get his life story.

I received this copy from the publisher through Netgalley in return for an honest review!

I loved this short story. My favorite line: What happened to her wasn’t Jim’s fault. Yet, she attacked him with a fierceness reserved for one’s most bitter enemy.

One day, Mary decided to read her mom’s journal entries to discover why she was given up for adoption. Jim was her husband. This plot was very sentimental for me, especially when it got into detail the reasoning behind everything. I kept thinking what it’d be like if that would have happened to me. I don’t know if I would’ve been as strong as Mary.

I RECOMMEND this book to read.

Love's Second Chance is just that, but a whole lot more.
Dana Rogers is now living in Fairhaven, thanks to her dear friend. She had been working in NYC in brokerage firm, and trying to get on with her life. Dana had been very much in love and engaged to be married, when her Fiancé died. She is now guarding her heart, and does not want to let anyone very close, she never wants the pain of loosing a love one again.
She is now working and enjoying her job at New Covenant Christian Church. We travel along with her as she goes about her job as the Pastor Assistant, and meet some very interesting and loveable people.
Enter Ethan Johnson, a very successful real estate agent. He has had his eye on Dana, but he is also guarding his heart, having be hurt.
When things start to go South at the church, everyone becomes concerned. What is going to happen to the Pillar Church in their Community? Attendance has been steadily dropping, and Dana is trying to help Pastor Terry all she can. She is there when he is down, and having trouble with his sermons. Dana is now trying her hardest to get people to recognize that they need New Covenant, but as Pastor said, sometimes when people turn their backs on God it takes a disaster to turn them around.
When sparks start to happen between Dana and Ethan, will either be able to give of themselves. Also when some shady real estate happens start to appear, is Ethan involved? What is it going to take to bring these people around, or will they loose their Rock?
This is a really great and fast read, once started you won't be able to put it down.

I received this book through Reader's Favorite Reviewers Program, and was not required to give a positive review.

Michigan StarWatch is a very detailed introduction to astronomy. I was expecting a book with some star charts and the basic explanation of "the Earth tilts, that's why you can't see all the stars all the time." Michael W. Lynch actually took the time to explain how stars form, their various life patterns, and what happens when they die. He even talks about the planets. And, yes, there are star charts. We're planning on taking it up north whenever we go!
