Lizz Lund

A cute little cozy mystery that is fun and fast to read. I liked the character of Mina, and enjoyed her wacky friends. I wasn't really thrilled with James, her sometime boss and sometime love interest. He was a little too much of a jerk. I have more hope for her budding relationship with Chef.

The mystery portion of the book was a little weak. It was original, but I knew who the thief was early on in the book, and was waiting for Mina and her friends to catch up.

Great story full of zany characters that will keep you laughing all through the book.

Cute, but a little scattered

I enjoyed much of the book. However, when the "mystery" portion begins, the transition is somewhat choppy and abruptly slams the fledgling romance to a screeching halt. The story could benefit from additional length in order to develop the plot more thoroughly and eliminate this problem.

The characters are well defined, as is the setting. I would probably read again from the series and hope for a smoother story from beginning to end.

I read the first 19% of it and I just didn't have the desire to finish it. I felt nothing for the book.
