A fascinating autobiography from an officer in the Queens Regiment who saw active service on the North West Frontier before being invloved in the Arakan and the battle of Kohima and subsequent reconquest of Burma. It is written with humour and compassion and the obvious pride he has for both the Regiment and his soldiers shines through. A very well written and facinating book on 1 Queen's role in the second Arakan campaign and their redeployment to Dimapur and the subsequent relief of Kohima.
