Just the thing to get you in the holiday spirit.
Cute touch: the chapter titles are Christmas songs.
Georgia has not been home in several years, putting all her effort into marketing the town of Willa Falls in her job as Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce. She has planned lots of fun projects around Christmas and it has paid off. Hunky Mac has been on her radar since she moved to town. Now to get him to notice her.
Witty banter, snarky side kick and manipulation mishap makes this a cute Christmas read.
*I purchased this book from Amazon in December, 2022. All opinions are my own.*

This is my first book by Ms Lowe and I think I just found my newest favorite author. Oh, my, what a way with words that delve into your core and don’t let go. I absolutely loved the monster of Indigo Isle and the way Sonny wormed her way into his life. His strength came from the Lord and that endeared him to me. They both needed a friend and someone to love them flaws and all and I admit my heart swooned over his tenderness hidden behind his gruffness. I definitely had tissues handy as the difficult situation Sonny was in escalated and she needed to find the inner strength to walk away. Some material is difficult to read if you have ever been through it but is handled well and tastefully with hope. This is an absolutely beautiful story and I loved everything about it. I didn’t want it to end. I also loved that I learned how indigo is harvested and made into dye. I found it so fascinating that I had to read it to my husband. I definitely want to read more by this author. I recommend you run to put this on the top of your TBR pile as you won’t want to miss this combination of Beauty and the Beast-Prodigal Son retelling as I found it to tick all the boxes for an excellent read.
I won a copy of this book. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

I found this book to be a charming read. In the beginning, it was a bit slow for me but it picked up as the story progressed.

Hudson is a grumpy man but with Sonny determined to win him over, I grew closer to him as well. Especially when I learned about his past. It was entertaining to see Hudson and Sonny connecting with one another as they are both so different.

The author did a lovely job of storytelling. Instantly, i was transported to Indigo Isle. it was like I was there with Sonny and Hudson experiencing everything they did. I plan to check out more books by this author.… (plus d'informations)
