Everleigh lost her twin brother and every year her parents grieve. This year, Everleigh overhears this truth as well as a magical relic that will bring back her brother. The next day, her parents have gone missing and now starts a journey to find her family. Everleigh has to grow up extremely quickly while overseeing the kingdom as well as looking after her grandmama. There is plenty of adventure as well as various characters to follow; the story reads quite young.

Ok story. Just not nearly as good as HighlNder story. I got bored with it. Skimmed to end
Great second in series
I liked Sam’s book,but I loved Wyatt’s book. He comes across slightly juvenile and immature some of the time,but the author makes it work with his history and his quirks. The book kept me reading. Can’t wait to read Josey’s book.
