Whenever I went to the museum as a kid route would be: pickled punks, shrunken heads, mummies, then those dioramas of cave men. This is my kind of book.

Mutter Museum Historic Medical Photographs par College of Physicians of Philadelphia

Meh. This was a little disappointing. Some of the photographs were stunning, both in an artistic sense and in a oh-god-I-am-so-going-to-have-nightmares-tonight sense. But there was some repetition -- several photographs were of the same thing, taken from different angles. And some of them didn't make a lot of sense. For example, they had one picture captioned something like "skeleton of infant with club feet" but the skeleton was from the knees upward; you couldn't see the feet.

I would recommend this only to people who already have an interest in medical photography.… (plus d'informations)

Mutter Museum Historic Medical Photographs par College of Physicians of Philadelphia

This is an amazing collection of photos from the museum. It allows the reader to catch a brief glimpse of medical conditions rarely seen and shows the beauty of the art of photography at the same time.
