Sap rising par Christine Lincoln
The first part of the book, seemed interesting, but then I completely lost track. Events in the final chapter precede many events in the rest of the book. This deliberately muddled structure reminded me immediately of Tony Morrison's "Beloved".

This complicated structure weakens the plot (what is the plot?). Some beautiful descriptions, but altogether rather disappointing.
