Brian Levite has spent his career working at the nexus of energy technology, policy, and strategic planning. He has worked for consulting firms, non-profits and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Mr. Levite has supported energy efficiency and renewable energy programs for clients including afficher plus the U.S. Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program. He was a lead instructor for DOE's Community Strategic Energy Planning Academy, helping local governments to better address their energy planning opportunities. He has also directly supported of new energy programs. Mr. Levite currently works for Hitachi Consulting in their Environmental Sustainability Solutions team. Mr. Levite is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Demand-Side Manager with a bachelor's degree in environmental policy and a master's degree in public policy from The American University. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife, daughter and dog. Alexander Rakow is an environmental and energy consultant focused on facility management issues related to environmental sustainability and energy performance for both public and private clients. Mr. Rakow worked as a data analyst for Toxics Targeting Inc. before graduate school, and now works at Hitachi Consulting as part of the Environmental Sustainability Solutions team. He specializes in the analysis and management of environmental and energy performance data through the development of custom software platforms. Mr. Rakow earned his BS from Cornell University in environmental science, and his MA from Johns Hopkins University, conducting research on global economic change and sustainability. He earned the Building Operator Certification from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council in 2013. He lives in Takoma Park, MD, with his wife, daughter and dog. afficher moins
