Ellie Levenson's new book 'The Noughties Girl's Guide to Feminism' is published at the beginning of July. If you're in favour of women's rights but less enthusiastic about the man-bashing and bra-burning side of feminism, she has the answer. From chick lit to condoms and bitchy bosses to toe-cleavage, Levenson reminds us that the modern feminist can strive for equality without having to sacrifice boyfriends or lipstick. Insightful, informative, fresh, and always funny, Levenson shows why the issue is still an important one, and presents a modern-day search for equality between men and women where we can be simultaneously the same, but different, and still get on fine. Ideal for women young and old, this guide rescues the movement from cliche and will inspire women of all age to proudly call themselves feminists.
