Author vs. Illustrator is a fun book that young children will relate to. In the book, the Author and the Illustrator argue about which of them is making up the story. The Author has ideas for a story, but the Illustrator won't draw the characters as they are in the Author's mind. The argument builds until the two decide to do a story on their own, which does not work well. So finally, COMPROMISE! Children will delight in the book's silliness, and parents will love that it teaches a lesson. The book is very nicely done, with good contributions from both Author and Illustrator.

This book is a cross between Spider-Man and Iron Giant. You have Zack Allen, a boy who is very smart and makes his own robot to help save the world. The adventures are perfect for the elementary school set and lots of kids are going to find it fun and crazy. What I find lacking is diversity. There is no reason for all the characters in this book to be cisgendered and white. There are bullies, there are the smart kids, there are they not so smart kids, and there’s adventure, but in this day and age we need more than that.… (plus d'informations)

Sorry but I am just not a fan of graphic novels. I find them very difficult to read as my mind just skips through to all the text and completely bypasses the graphics so then I have no idea what has just happened. I admire those who read these with ease. It's movies for me when I want my Marvel or DC fix
