I requested this book from Early Reviewers because the Chinese language has always fascinated me. I learned a small bit when I was a kid and always wanted to learn more. There is an artistry to the Chinese characters that I've always loved. This book jumps right in and doesn't just teach the characters, but also goes into the history of the languages spoken/written in China. I loved the bits of history throughout the book, and the quizzes and games to help you master the concepts. In addition, it's just a fun book with all the emojis and the comparison to traditional Chinese characters. This is great for both kids and adults who want to learn more about the Chinese language in general.
