The complete idiot's guide to decluttering par Regina Leeds
2.5 stars. I preferred her 8 Minute Organizer. Parts were useful, but it got repetitious.
3.5 stars; made it 4 because it's rated way too low. Short, to the point, and actually motivated me to get up and do something in the middle of reading -- more than once!
A lot of it is aimed at people with children (I'd love to give it to some of my relatives...) and I'm fairly well organized in many areas (don't look at my books & papers), but it had lots of useful suggestions for anyone. I've certainly read most of the same information before, but it's sensibly presented and makes it sound actually do-able; after all, who hasn't got 8 minutes?… (plus d'informations)

Meh. Nothing ground-breaking here. Toss out what you don't need, organize what you keep. Rinse, repeat. Although the book is supposed to be set up on a theme of 8-minute routines you can do, the execution of those segments seems really contrived.
Another year, another attempt to get organized! I always glean a few techniques and some motivation from this type of book - much of it was redundant (same ideas for each room in the house) so would definitely suggest you get the book and skim.
