There are a lot of elements in this single volume: updates for all the other characters, set up for the next installment, and the main storyline. I understand tying all the disparate parts together in a cohesive story arc is probably daunting. But.... whaaaaaaa! :(
Part of it is probably the buildup and the anticipation rising so high I can't possibly be satisfied. At the same time though, a goodly portion of this book is devoted to Izzy's bloodlines, the twins and Rhi, and all the other chaos. I felt like the characters just didn't get the stage time to develop their romance and characters some of the other characters did in earlier installments.
Whining out of the way, I did enjoy the book as always and will eagerly read the next book when it makes its way to the top of the TBR mountain.… (plus d'informations)
