Not Jane Austen! There is no plot and really, it's just a soft-porn book; or seems like! And honestly, we can make a drinking game of how many times the author uses the same adjectives over and over again! I read it because my husband gave it to me, thinking that I would really like it. I honestly don't know how I managed to get through it, as it did not capture me, but that being said, it wasn't entirely horrid either. I think 1.5 stars would be more accurate. Ah well, more books to be read which I'll enjoy more!… (plus d'informations)

I really enjoyed this book, Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite classic novels and Lathan has kept true to the characters and done it justice. It may have been better to read one of her earlier sequels first as having read this I feel I would like to read others but will obviously then be going backwards.

The only slightly unnecessary part I felt was when the cave collapsed and they were nearly killed, I slightly felt this was overkill and that level of action was not really necessary. However I wouldn't go as far as saying this is a flaw of the work just personal preference.

You really feel Kitty's pain when she is disappointed, an age old sensation. Equally you have to marvel at Georgiana's maturity in her relations with Colonel Fitzwilliam.

This book was pure sugar, and I don't mean that in a good sense. It got tiring to read after a while - it was predictable, redundant, and not always historically accurate. There were certain terms and phrases used that would not have been heard in the time period. I found quite a few typos too, which is also distracting. But most of all, I got so sick of the neverending sex scenes, which were ALWAYS perfect, blissful, raptorous, etc. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Not that Darcty and Lizzy in love isn't a nice thing to read about, but there was so much other character development or other plots that could have been expanded upon. A mediocre book that had promise, but lost it miserably. I'm glad I only paid $1.29 for it, because otherwise I would have been much more disappointed.… (plus d'informations)

A sequel to the 2005 (very bad) Pride and Prejudice movie. The 1980 mini series starring Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul as Elizabeth and Darcy is my favourite.
There is too much sex and not enough plot or character development
