Most chapters seem to start with a fictional story 'based' on the 'monster' under discussion, followed by poorly documented 'eye witness' account, and a humorous, keystone cop monster hunt by the author. You can skip this book. Also, full of grammatical errors. Didn't anyone proofread this?
