I bought the book for the illustrations, and then read it straight trough. Short stories of the boxing ring and the baseball diamond. Mostly making fun of odd characters in a way unthinkable in the PC world of today.
The Willard Mullin illustrations are many, they're great examples of dynamism in art, and they all suit the stories perfectly.
