An interesting and informative, if slightly dated book on the hazards of widespread overuse and misuse of radiation: medical, civilian, military and industrial. While some of the information is speculative or simply wrong (e.g., the book claims humans have 48 chromosomes rather than 46), this book does a good job highlighting the risks and concerns associated with radiation exposure.
