So what can I say? The Red/Yellow/Green/etc Fairy Book are classics - telling stories from across Europe, these stories are Iconic. In this collection, we have versions of Snow White, The Rat Catcher, Jack and the Beanstock, as well as lesser known The Six Sillies, Kari Woodgown and quite a few more.

I loved reading these as a child, as an adult they are still enjoyable, but they are considerable more dark. Most of these stories moral is very simple - be pretty or handsome, get a prince or princess.
