Actually read this for someone's assignment.

... apart from that, I actually rather enjoyed it (especially considering I never watched the TV show). It actually gave me some good inspiration to write that assignment... which only proved to me: i) how lazy people are these days (myself included); and, ii) how easy it actually is to get a qualification if you put your guts into it.

That probably means I need to find some guts.

This book is great for students who are interested in or are graduating with a degree in Sociology. The book consists of two parts; the job search process and the 5 different career paths students could pursue. The 1st part of the book starts out with a self-assessment, where the student reflects on her passion and interests, which will help the student in the next step of the process of Resume and Cover letter writing. The book then goes on to guide students on researching careers and networking. It also gives advice on interviewing and considering job offerings. The 2nd part of the book has 5 different sections each emphasizing 5 different career paths, including careers in Human Services to Social Research. The possible salaries, professional qualifications, the working environment, potential employers and a list of related Professional associations for each career path are included as well.… (plus d'informations)
