Image ONE YEAR without technology. While I know my kids would kill me, I admire this family's journey to unplug and disconnect from technology, cell phones, computers, television for a year.

I can't imagine it would even be possible, but this family shows it is.

The book chronicles each month in their journey. With chapters like Letting Go, My husband Left Me for Double D’s, iTunes Makes the World Go Round, Seeking Silence, You've Got No Mail, To Be Online or Not to Be Online and more, the author shares her family's journeys, adventures, and ups and downs in this book.

What I especially appreciate about the book is not only the candidness from the author, but also the fact that she has included resources and a book club guide at the end of the book which really helps in thinking more about the topic whether you plan to implement any of these changes or now.

Great read. Even if you aren't interested in totally unplugging, readers will learn a lot about the topics and how to maybe unplug for a day or two and create more family time.
