Nice Regency by an author I've come to like. I think I like the previous series better but I will continue to check out this series. In this one I particularly liked that an older couple, at least in 19th century terms, was the focus of the book.

I liked that this final installment of the silver linings series wrapped up all of the mysteries. The hero and heroine came across as genuine historical characters, not modernized to fit modern sensibilities. The book was suspenseful but not overly so and I liked the ending. My only small disappointment was that there were some characters who I would have liked to find out more about their fate. So I guess that is actually a plus.

A novella in the Daughters of Allamont Hall series. I really liked this story. The "hero" was not really a hero, just a warm sweet loving man but also sickly. The female lead cared for him because of his sweet nature. And she loved another also but in a more romantic sense and that other also loved the "hero" and they would not consummate their love while he lived. Just a really different story and ending.

I've read two of the three books:
1 - Lord Reginald - July 11-12 - 3.55 stars
2 - Lord Humphrey - July 12 - 4.55 stars
3 - ...
