A well-written immigrant story. Great exploration of what it means to be a patriotic American.

Favorite quote: “So what if you are thirsty? Always be a river for everyone.”

An in-depth look at the constitution, examining history, famous court cases, and the way the constitution has been a guided force in the United States since its founding. Khizr Khan ties in his own experience as an immigrant and compares to like in Pakistan at points, particularly in light of the bill of rights.
An engaging read with full-text of the constitution included.
