The Making of a Nation: The Beginnings of Israel's… par Charles F Kent
Reading this 109 years after publication, I was struck by what would now be dismissed as a naïve positivism with regard to the history, so to speak, recorded in the biblical text. Kent demonstrates the tight arguments characteristic of his position and his time. That being said, and with awareness of the myth of progress, historical study of the Ancient NeR East is much better in 2021 than it was in 1912.
