DeathByte (Spies Lie, #2) by D.S. Kane

William Wing's apartment is broken into and his hard drives are stolen from his computer. William is a computer genius and also a fantastic hacker, actually the best there is. William is now being hunted by several world wide intelligence agency, and their motives are not good.

John Sommers ( who works for the Mossad) is called to help him (William). Soon it becomes a deadly mission, and a race for time. Who will get to William first? The Mossad, The American's, The Chinese or The Brits? Will Jon be able to save his friend and stop the destructive path that is about to occur, if the data gets into the wrong hands?

A fast paced, action packed, nail-biting psychological,(spy) drama. The story is very original and well written. Once again Mr. Kane grabbed me into the story, and kept me up late into the night, needing to read more!

(It is) great as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading Bloodridge first. I feel that those who love suspense, action, drama, and spies (from around the world) will enjoy DeathByte. I was hooked from the first page! Next to read is book three in the series: Swiftshadow.

Bloodridge (Spies Lie Book 1) by D.S. Kane

Jon Sommers fiance Lisa Gabriel was killed in a terrorist bomb attack. He is visited by Ben-Levy, a (Mossad) spy. Ben-Levy wants Jon to join the Mossad to find justice for Lisa's murder. He (Jon) finds she is not who she told him she was, she was a spy for the Mossad. Jon does as he is requested and soon finds out his parents death was not an accident either, and they had secrets of their own. Who was his fiance and his own parents? How did they manage to hide their secrets for so long?

A fast paced intense psychological drama that takes us across the globe. Jon's life is in danger when he agrees to join the Mossad. His mission turns out to be something much bigger than he ever expected. Jon needs to seek the truth, at any cost.

The story is well written, vivid details and descriptions makes the story believable. It is easy to imagine that things like this happen daily and no one knows about it. I highly recommend Bloodridge to those who love an intriguing story of secrets, lies, deception, and danger. I eagerly anticipate reading book two in the series DeathByte
