The McGuffin Muffin recipe is missing and it is up to the reader to choose the correct path to recover it. Along the way, the reader must choose what accessories are needed to complete to covert mission and decide the best route to take. This story is a coloring book and a pick your own path book. There is plenty of room for marking one’s choices, but some of the pictures are too small and detailed for some less proficient in coloring.

I was randomly chosen through a Shelf Awareness Giveaway to receive this book free from the publisher. Although encouraged, I was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.… (plus d'informations)

Daisy Doodle Tracks an Alien
An alien spacecraft lands, and it is up to the reader to save the occupant from captivity.

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of Draw-It-Yourself-Adventures: Alien Attack and Spy Mission. I started reading through the books myself when they caught the attention of my six-year-old daughter. We ended up reading the books together while my daughter completed the activities in the books. Needless to say, she LOVED it. I had fun watching her enjoyment and enthusiasm while interacting with the books. Her favorite activities were creating her own spy binoculars and paper airplane to help the main character complete his mission. The activities in the book included doodles for her to complete, pages to rip or tear out, and choose-your-own-adventure type missions where she decided the path the main character took throughout the book. My daughter is currently rereading the books, packing them along wherever she goes. They are her new favorite books. I recommend both books for any elementary aged kid. They are fun, fun, FUN!… (plus d'informations)
