Little Sister, written by Moya Sayer-Jones is a novel set in Australia, in the 1960's to 1970's. Readers follow the growth of Moya in her typical Australian life, where she grew up as the third girl in the family.

This book is nostalgic for older Australians as it reflects the attitudes during their youth. The events of the book are humorous such as the conflicts between Moya and her family, or the entrance into university, where she experienced pressure to act like other girls in society.

Moya is a particularly interesting character, depicted through her memoir, which shows her attitudes towards events, such as the transition from primary school to university.
Moya was a student of St George Girls High School, and many of the times and attitudes mirrored those of the school and it's students at that time.

Overall, it was a good book and I rate it 4/5
