Excellent book. Well-researched. Very disturbing, as well, as the victim Dr. Darryl Sutorious and his first wife & family had attended my childhood church. My father & his first wife shared shuttle duties of kids to church functions for a period in the late 70s-early 80s. To hear about this sensational murder some 10 years after we last knew them was very upsetting to say the least. The murderess, Della Dante Sutorious, his 2nd wife, has since died about 10 years ago while in prison for this terrible crime.… (plus d'informations)

All She Wanted par Aphrodite Jones

The true story of Teena Brandon's struggle with her identity as a male and the women who fell in love with her/him. Not as powerful as the movie, Boys Don't Cry, more direct than emotion-laden, but the movie lacked accuracy in some of its scenes of who was involved in what. An overall good insight offering several perspectives.

Della (Dante) had been married four times. She was a social climber, always looking for someone who could provide for her expensive taste.
She joined a dating service and met Dr. Darryl Sutorius, a well off heart surgeon. They were married after a short courtship and Della began spending his money.
