This sort of book isn't unique -- there are many variations on the same theme, especially since Dublin at the start of the Edwardian age ties in very strongly to Joyce. The text isn't very deep, as well. It's the photographs and the selection of them, though, that make this book interesting. The selection -- which takes in some of the areas near Dublin -- is interesting, and as much as possible, the author tried to get the same angle. If you're interested in Dublin or Dubliners, you'll probably like this book. Otherwise, a little restricted in appeal.… (plus d'informations)
