The novel, Stacie and Cole, encompasses a young couple that faces the hardships of peirpresure related to having sex. In the begging Stacie and Cole, the protagonists struggle with rumors that spread about their sexual activity which leads Cole to give into the pressure. Throughout the middle Stacie learns what she wants from her relationship with Cole and it doesn't have so much to do with having sex but with having someone who she can depend on. And to think that I thought the first one took my breath away...This second one was..whoa.I'm not sure how else to put it lol.Poverty can make you do crazy things just to get ahead...even if you have to sell your soul to the devil.I can't wait for the third one. I'm not even sure how Johnson can follow that one, but we'll see.
