Mark Jarman

This book is always on my reading list. I find it profoundly comforting to know that other people in the world live searching to understand the connected layers...both seen and unseen surrounding us.

I DIDN'T FINISH THAT SHIT!!!! I got better thing to do than read shit like that.

I rarely read poetry, but wanted to stretch myself a bit with this selection. A couple of days after finishing the book, images are still bouncing around in my mind. This is not a book to be rushed through. Take the time to contemplate Jarman's choice of language. The poems are filled with shifting and often startling images, but provide much to think about and to share. This is very readable poetry, even for those of us who seldom venture into this genre.

Loved what I've read of this book, but I haven't read it cover to cover yet. Bought it for Andrew Hudgins's poems, and happy to read many of the others!
