Great book for families thinking about adopting a dog. Tells a great story with excellent photography showing the other options for getting a pet, instead of the Pet Store. It had meaning and portrayed the love of animals. The pictures really helped bring the story to life, plus it is a true story.
This is a true story and is illustrated with photographs. The photographs really make the book because they are so adorable! The book would be a good read aloud but it is non-fiction so it may get overlooked.
