.hack//Legend of the Twilight, Vol. 1 par Rei Idumi
Teenaged twins Shugo and Rena become immersed in a virtual world role playing game. Rena had won a contest so that she and her brother were able to play the game as previous advanced players known as .hackers. They meet some friends and foes along the way and battle a few dastardly enemies. At one point Shugo is killed by one of the monsters but an alluring girl, Aura, gives him a healing elixir and a mysterious bracelet which not only brings him back to life but elevates the game to another level.

I am so not a manga fan except for the charming illustrations. Even those at times are a bit on the risque side and not quite so charming. I am determined not to skip any tags so thank goodness I am done with this one!

This seems like it is going to be a good series. The plot is very interesting. I enjoy the character Black Rose a lot. The art work for this manga is amazing. The characters are developed pretty well. I imagine in the next volumes they will be developed even better.

.HACK//Legend of the Twilight Bd.03 par Tatsuya Hamazaki
Die Spannung hat sich in denn ersten beiden Büchern langsam aufgebaut und auch hier im letzten Band wird noch etwas Spannung dazugelegt. Das Ende kommt dann doch etwas arg schnell und ohne wirkliche Herrausvorderung,
es kommt einem fast so vor als hätte Hamazaki die Geschichte aufgrund von Vorgaben schnell zuende bringen müssen.
Aber trotzdem noch drei Sterne da es immerhin noch eine anständige Geschichte über Freundschaft ist.
