Maxwell Eaton III is a highly tolerated author and illustrator of numerous books for children. When he isn't writing or drawing, he can be found chasing chickens in the Adirondack Mountains with his partner and two children.

This book is about the difference between crocodiles and alligators, and ways that you can tell the difference between the two. I think that It would be a good read aloud book if you are teaching about reptiles in science or if some students have an interest in these animals, I think it would work the best at a grade school level.

This book featured adorable illustrations, fantastic commentary, and a funny and incredibly engaging way to introduce information to children. The book was full of good information about elephants but was also super fun to read. Students would adore this book! A prime example of non-fiction done WELL. The only hesitation I have is that this book shares the evolutionary worldview, which is something that as a Christian I have a really hard time standing behind and explicitly teaching in my classroom. This would be a great addition to a classroom library for 1st-3rd, though!… (plus d'informations)

Fun nonfiction book about dolphins. Illustrations and humor (especially from an apparently uninterested seagull) would be engaging to a young reader -- it is a quick read, but good introduction. Part of a series of nonfiction animal books.
