This was pleasant, and the characters were all nice, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Christmas on Madrona Island by Andrea Hurst
Enjoyed this Christmas story about celebrating on the island but I was lost with all the characters.
I had not read the other books in the series. Enjoyed the read and learning more about different things. Do love how everyone is there for others.
Sounded very festive but got wrapped up trying to continually sort all the characters out and who was with who.
Recipes are included at the end. Book synopsis are listed at the end.

I purchased this book from Amazon to read with The Well Read Ladies Bookclub. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Guestbook Book One in The Madrona Island Trilogy by Andrea Hurst. This was a fun, light read. It was heart warming and full of fluff. Like reading a Hallmark movie in its pages. Lily is fleeing a broken marriage that on the outside looked perfect but left her unfulfilled and retreats to her Grandmother's farmhouse on Madrona Island. Since her Grandmother passed away Lily is only left with a Guestbook and a few recipes to learn how to continue the converted B and B. With the help of the quirky island residents Lily finds her true dreams and culinary skills. A brewing love story happens when Lily meets Ian but swears he will only ever be a friend. Review also posted on Instagram @borenbooks, Library Thing, Twitter @jason_stacie, Facebook, Amazon, www.goodreads.com/stacieboren and my blog at readsbystacie.com… (plus d'informations)

I loved this book! I haven't read any of the other stories in this series and I can't wait to dive in! This was such a sweet little story with a wonderful setting. Wonderful, warm characters and a lovely little romance too. Really whet my appetite for the rest of the series.
