Booker T. Huffman

Booker T's story is inspirational, and his rise in wrestling was anchored on his likability, which is on full display in this book. This memoir (his second) focuses on his pro wrestling career, starting with his auspicious debut in WCW and rise to singles stardom to his transition to WWE superstar and, eventually, ring announcer.

While Booker does not shy away from personal details, it's not so much of a tell-all memoir as it is a recounting of his career. At times, you'd wish he had left more of the details out and took a longer view, as the match details can feel like minutia.
