Internationally renowned author, speaker, catechist and farmer from Minnesota with a gift for telling stories, Bill Huebsch is Director of the online Pastoral Center at Twenty-third Publications. He holds a BA in religious studies, and an MTS from CTU in Chicago. He worked as diocesan administrator for many years in Minnesota, principally in the Diocese of New Ulm where he served with Bishop Ray Lucker. He later served as DRE in a suburban Minneapolis parish.
He has many published works, including, Growing Up Catholic, Growing Faith, Dreams and Visions, and his most recent work, Come to the Table │ Ven a la Mesa They’re all available through PastoralPlanning.com. His most recent works include The Art of Self-giving Love and A Culture of Holiness in the Parish.
Since he came to the papacy in March, 2013, Pope Francis has been leading the world’s Catholics (and all people of good will) to embrace the call to live simply, sustainably, and in solidarity with the poor. What does this mean to us in our daily lives? What does Pope Francis want us to do and be?
Using humour, anecdote, and story, Bill Huebsch helps us to understand this moment in our history and respond to it with great faith.
