If solid-state spproximations, mean-free paths, and kinetics is your thing, this is your book. It is an excellent recourse for the physical chemist who is interested in kinetics. You will need a solid mathematical base to understand it, and if kinetics isnt your thing, this probably isnt the book that you want to read.
