As a child, I loved Dorothy Hosford's Thunder of the Gods, retelling the Norse myths.so I was glad to find this book retelling the story of Sigurd and his kin, though I was a bit disappointed it was based on William Morris's version rather than the original sources. I like Morris's version, but I would have preferred something closer to the original Norse sources.
